Turin (or Torino) is a large city in the north-west of Italy. It is a grand city with baroque palaces and churches, wide boulevards and leafy parks. The National Cinema Museum, the Egyptian Museum and the Cathedral of Superga are all worth a visit. For the sports fans, Juventus football club is the most successful club in Italian football and it has just moved into a new stadium on the outskirts of the city. Turin also hosted the 2006 Winter Olympics and is a major gateway to several ski regions in both Italy and neighbouring France.
